ENCOURAGE ECONOMIC GROWTH & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

 

Our goal is to reverse this trend totally by making the necessary physical changes and to give those individuals greater options and opportunities to achieve:

 

•  "Catch of the Day" Youth Development Center 

 

• To Build sustainable neighborhood 

 

• To Build Townhomes (Affordable and Market Rate) 

 

• To Build Mixed Market Rate & Workforce Apartments 

 

• To Build all new commercial facilities adjacent to the Community to provide needed Office space, retail, restaurants and needed services 

 

• To provide programs that will give opportunities for job training and employment as the community is revitalized 

 

• Encourage economic growth and significantly reduce crime within and surrounding Communities

 

• Currently the City of Baltimore does not have a Master Plan for this community; however, the Southwest Master Plan is promoting hi-tech businesses and services that are adjacent to the Community which potentially make for an attractive opportunity to corner the market for New Development. With an array of new workforce apartments, new townhomes that are affordable and market rate, and new retail and services, this makes for a win- win situation for both the Community and the City of Baltimore.
